After showing 2 pieces of art I have had some feedback.
I should look into the punk eras with their collages and statement posters. I will also look at a few illustrations made on issues that went on during that time.
If I was going to do the political approach then I would need to think about the audience as most have different opinions. I'm best not to use what's happening at present and to not use faces as well to cause distress. This was aimed at one of my pictures. I will take away the face and add a made up bankers face instead.
I think I would be best to stay away from politics at the moment due to tension and people's opinions.
I will focus on what is happening with today such as technology, obesity, money etc using visual metaphors.
